It's a very trying few weeks. I applied for a job that I really wanted and I never got an interview for it and the manager was really upset and disappointed because I think they really wanted me to get it. Job hunting has been slow, a lot of CV's are out there and I'm not hearing much from anywhere and it's really taking it's toll on me now. I also feel like my creative streak is coming to a stop due to the stress and job stuff and it's depressing.
The other day though I bumped into some old college buddies who are doing their photography honors and they told me that it's not what they expected and are somewhat enjoying it. I'm not having se
Feel the ocean breeze
Caress your rosy cheeks
You watch and sigh
As the sun begins to rise
You feel the tension burst forth
Disappearing along with the ocean breeze
And as you watch the ocean waves
Images appear in your mind
Of childhood dreams
Fading each day
Yet they remain so close
To your soul
As you sit there surveying the sunset
You allow yourself to reminisceAmidst the ocean breeze

I am haunted in this holiday season by the opening lines of Charles Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities, his novel about a society 250 years ago coming apart in its seemingly irreconcilable divisions. Could it be these lines define where we have come to find ourselves today?
“It was the best of times,
it was the worst of times,
in the age of wisdom,
it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief,
it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of Light,
it was the season of Darkness,
it was the spring of hope,
it was the winter of despair…”
ur own epoch is one of the tec
When I logged in to dA today, I was stunned by the amount of messages I had, and realized it could only mean one thing; I'd gotten my first DD! I'm so, so happy :D What a great way to start the day! Thank you so much Kaz-D (https://www.deviantart.com/kaz-d) for featuring it! And thanks to all you guys for the faves and comments and watches and llamas!
I actually have loads to share, but I'm too excited to write a coherent journal entry right now. As always I encourage you to read my blog which is updates frequently!

It's been almost six months since my last journal entry, and a lot has happened in those months. The biggest thing is that I've accepted an offer from Arts University College at Bournemouth, and will be attending the BA (Hons) Photography course there. That means I'll be moving to England this September, something I have been waiting to do for about three years now!
I'd like to, once again, advice you to read my blog if you're interested in what I'm up to, and want to see more of my work. My dA gallery isn't updated that often, unfortunately. Also, I've just completed the coding and design for my new online portfolio, so please check it out!
But in 2011 I'm very much alive. You wouldn't have thought so by the looks of things here, but a new year means new beginnings and blah blah and so fort.
I really have been neglecting my dA account, but I've decided to try to be more active here by uploading some of my stuff more often, and perhaps increase the amount of journal writing from once every other year to, i dunno, twice perhaps? But I'm making no promises here. If you really wanna know what I'm up to at any given time, follow me on twitter!
Nah, just kidding, I don't have a twitter.
But I do blog quite frequently, so do feel free to check it out :D
